Heartbleed

The bullionvault.com website used a version of openSSL that was not susceptible to the Heartbleed bug. No username, passwords or other data was leaked by the bullionvault.com web servers.

If your BullionVault password is only used on the BullionVault website then there is no need to change it. If, however, your BullionVault password is the same as that used on a site which may have been affected by Heartbleed, then you should change your password. We recommend that you use a different password for different websites.

If you need to, you can change your password from the Settings page of your logged-in BullionVault account.
